Parrot Welfare Focus Group Availability

Vetmeduni processes the following categories of personal data within the scope of the data processing in question:

  • Name 
  • Type of expertise
  • Location (i.e. City, Country) from which participants will attend the online meetings

The data collected about you will not be forwarded to any recipients outside the Vetmeduni Vienna.

The data collected about you will remain confidential and will not appear in any published documents related to this study.

The data will not be transferred to a third country (EU or EEA country) or to an international organisation.

For the implementation of the survey, the data controller uses the service provider "LimeSurvey", which is generally based in the EU, but uses service providers that have points of contact in third countries (countries outside the EU).

The duration of data use is generally limited until the end of the project, that is the 03.2025. A personal reference of the data is completely eliminated as soon as it is no longer necessary for the scientific work. The Vetmeduni may continue to use the data transmitted by the end of the project for a further 10 years for the verification of scientific publications as well as for research purposes while maintaining confidentiality and must delete them by 11.2034 at the latest.

As a data subject, you have the right against the Vetmeduni to:

  • Right of access by the data subject (Art 15 GDPR),

  • Right to rectification (Art 16 GDPR),

  • Right to erasure (Art 17 GDPR),

  • Right to restriction of processing (Art 18 GDPR),

  • Right to data portability (Art 20 GDPR),

  • Right to object and termination of further processing if the legal basis of the processing is an overriding legitimate interest of the client or if the data is processed for scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes (Art 21 GDPR).

You also have the option of revoking your consent to data processing at any time without giving reasons (Art 7 (3) GDPR), which does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out until the revocation.
